Got mine from Amazon. I got the stainless 15#. Used it for 2 years now, love it. Built very good. Cheapest I found when I was looking. Very much worth the money.

If you make a lot of sausage you may want to look into water presure stuffer. That's what we use.

I saw a few old style with the exposed gears at the flea market in Gillis next to the store there. They also had a 20# Cabellas with a electric motor. I thought about buying that one but I read where the gears would strip because the motor had to much torque.

Whatever you buy ,MAKE SURE that it has metal gears!!!
Mark a stop line on the spindle so that you don't bottom it out.
I use a 5 lb so that the sausage i am stuffing stays cold.

I need to mark mine. Never hit the bottom but have striped the gears trying.

Last time I tried to bottom out I bruised my hips.

The casing always comes off when I do that.
