Speck Decoys

Whats yalls opinions on decoys? Is it worth it to buy the "Fully Flocked" decoys that are $200/6 or are the regular full bodies good?

Good luck finding the flocked. They look good but I just bought some regular ones and hunted over the regular ones plenty and they seem to work just fine. Whatever your preference I guess.

Well they sell decoy "Flocking" kits online. Its like $50 for enough material to do 100 decoys, but thats a lot of work and I just dont know if I think it will make that much of a difference.

People "claim" that the flocked ones work alot better. Say you don't need as many with flocked ones. I agree they are more realistic but I have hunted over both and haven't noticed where flocked ones drew them in better.

The flocked ones look more realistic to me but I just killed my limit last weekend (late in season) over the regular ones. I think concealment is twice as important than decoys.

All the above are correct.. Concealment and movement are key... Calling Is the most important this late inthe season... Light SOFT Clucking only is key when they are close..

IMO the Big Foot decoys are the best, last longer, look better, and you can touch them up with paint when necessary, also the flocked or regular decoys don't handle wind, always blowing off stand.
