This was posted on Facebook by my cousin. They go catch Sacs, in Millers Lake, on the last Saturday of every duck season.

fishingonewild 02-01-2013 09:14 AM

they sud be around the trees or grass piling that floats on water.... look for fallen trees under water or stumps underwater i dunno much abt miller lakes area cux never been in it but from wha i do to catch them is i look for those things that i just put up. but as of right now sac a laits are gonna be getting ready to move around getting closer to banks making beddings to spawn it already started but gotta look for them to catch them. hope that helps.

My cousin, who fishes out there all the time, has been beating them up around the trees. Good luck!

a black chartruse tube tiped with grass shrimp. 12 --18 under a small float will get bit on the northeast corner in the trees an golden bream fluke next to trees will get the bass

tayljakh 02-03-2013 09:01 PM

Went Saturday morning with no luck on Sacalait or Bream, not even a bite. Everyone we talked to that morning had no luck. We did manage a couple bass though

Once word got out and the lake got pounded the fish get skittish....same thing happens to lake martin on the weekends.

I fished the Lake Saturday from noon until about 3 Pm.. Shiners to blue/ white jigs under a cork. One msall bass to show for it.. Water never got above 59 degrees.. I think the water is a little to cold.... If if get up in the 60-65 deg range, it will be on...
