Bring your gun and trade for the gun you always wanted. See the hundreds of displays of new and old guns, ammo, gun parts, AND A BUNCH OF CRAP at ridiculously overpriced "THE WORLD IS GOING TO END" prices. Fixed it for them...... :rotfl:

On a serious note though, I'll be one of the fools waiting in line looking for a milspec bcg to complete my build. I ordered one from DSA last week but it's backordered for 6 months and they won't answer the phone or return emails to cancel the order. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They show everything as in stock. I have a DPMS commercial one coming in on Friday until Bravo Company gets more in stock.

Hopefully the insanity dies soon, as the mad dash (and the internet) is what's driving up prices. I've heard from several sources that people are sleeping in their cars in academy lots to be first in line for ARs each morning. They are buying em for $1200 and turning around and selling em at shows for $3K. I work by an academy so all this week i drove by and witnessed it with my own eyes.

If the laws don't change, then a lot of people will be left holding the bag. The gun dealer i use has 2,000 mags on order and ARs from multiple vendors and he's scared to death they will all come in the same time...

Dink 02-09-2013 09:49 AM

You didnt see him counting?

southern151 02-09-2013 09:52 AM

2000?! That's a lot of mags! I've got 200 on order but, most are for friends anyway so, I won't be shocked too bad when they do surface.

2,000. He runs a small outfit and is still selling everything at MSRP (he formally sold at a 10% discount). From what I hear he's not alone and I imagine the vast majority of shops are in the same boat.
