Double and a short blind
1 Attachment(s)
Working to learn how to use the I-Draw app for training set ups.Would work better if I could down load to Wifey's I pad but having a disconnect somewhere with loading photos.
Blind is straight up between the two marks and ends about 337 yds across a finger of water. Marks were run as singles first with the bigger dogs turning a double after all dogs had picked it up first. |
I like to use google earth and then Microsoft paint. Microsoft paint is kind of a pain though. Nice setup though, those are some tough Qual size marks.

Go long or Go home is my motto, do some check down marks from time to time but the majority of my sets are Q or AA. Did a Master set up first and all the dogs did it fairly easily. I find them rather boring and vannila compared to ball buster marks and blinds. Al the 6 mo old puppy picked up the 185 yd mark with a little gunner help so I know it can be done if you try, contrary to some in the training group.

That's at Carl's house isn't it?
|
For Mac: Get the image on your screen and take a screen shot. Then you can mark on it as an image.

I heard only one dog could pick up that blind. That the dog took a poor initial line but through master handling and unbridled good looks the handler was able to steer him in the right direction in less than 2 handfuls of whistles.

I believe it was 12

Wish that was my pond.
