Personal Health and Dental Ins.

Does anyone have experience with going outside of their companie's insurance and getting it independently?

We recently switched and the new insurance is through United Healthcare and it's poor compared to what we had before, even my dental and health providers have said they are horrible. The pricing is good though, but I'm not sure if it is worth it given how much out of pocket we have to cough up now for visits and such.

I have never shopped around, any advice will be helpful!

We have United and i'm very satisified with them. With the MRA (Medical Reimbursement Account) you can get up to 1000$ (2k for family pans) that can be used for deductibles and RX costs. They can even give you a debit card for the account so you don't have to submit a claim everytime you to do the Dr.
