Computer Help..
Hi Guys..
I have a laptop computer.. I had a online update for internet explorer come thru.. I let the update run.. It asked it I wanted to download these(certain) add-ons.. I think I said no.... Now some video's posted on this and other website don't play.. Some of them you hear the sound with no video.. Some just won't play.. Screen is blank.. Some of the IT tech's out here on the Spar tried to "FIX" my problem.. We reloaded internet explorer etc.. Java etc. Now Im also getting script error EVERYTIME I CLICK on something.. My computer guru that set up my computer last year is expensive.. Anybody know of someone that does computers on the side? Is trustworthy? and is knowledgeable in the Abbeville, Lafayette area??? I think it not much, but would like to get a good virus scan and dianostics test done.. And fix my problems... I'm running Norton Internet Security... Thanks in Advance for any help..{lease just shoot me a PM on here.. Biggun |
have you tried doing a system restore from a previous date? that will take away any updates you did.

Roll back your video card drivers. I have a couple of computers at the house that have this issue at times after MS updates.
If you were in town I'd hook you up with repairs. What exactly does the script error say? |
download and install firefox or chrome.... try and run the same video's from them... if they run and you hear sound fine then you know its an issue with IE and you can go from there. If not then its certainly an issue with your video drivers.. you will need to identify what vid card is in your system (post up your computer model number, make etc) and i can find a good driver for you to download and install.

Check the O2 sensor, it could be giving you a false reading on your fuel gage and discombobulating the fuel gage reading. If that doesn't work check the oil in your blinker switches.
