S Texas Eagleford

I know we have a lot of oilfield workers in here and I know S Texas has drawn quite a few of you guys from the offshore production platforms and drilling rigs. Hell I've ran into a few of ya in the field. So who all is down here and for who?

Montauk17 03-14-2013 11:46 AM

I did some work around aransas pass but did not want to move like the company wanted me to so I bailed. Alot of work going on in texas though we were inspecting pipelines. I just could not see myself living in texas.

I hear ya. I make the journey every week down here for 3-4 days then back home for 3-4 days. There's not enough time in a week to keep up with this boom.
And I hear ya. I like my Cajun roots too much

We have alot of mix tanks and other stuff down there on rent. Make a couple sales calls out that way every now and then

I know a few that are contracted to PXP through PAC. I would be there now had I not told them to Kiss my @%$.

Got a few offers but it's the same money, I can't see driving that far just to work on land. I like going to the saltwater rehab center 1 week at a time. Glad to hear things going good for y'all down there.

Nice. Good luck with that. My uncle is down here working for BHP as a completions consultant. Good company and great pay. I'm actually just leaving BHPs Tilden office in search of one of their production foremans. This should be fun!
O and Choke Canyon Lake is 20 min from Tilden

Job security... That's no issue in S. Texas. They actually just found another 15000 feet of shell below what they thought they had. That's 15-20 years of production right

I personally don't work for BHP I only provide production specialty equipment, hookups, I&E to these guys along with some supplies.

I did find out they have 32 rigs rocking right now! That's a lot of drilling.

About the only thing I could do for drilling is provide transfer hose for fluids/chemicals and hydraulic hose.
