I am looking for..............................

A color guard to present flags for the National Anthem May 2nd at the CCA banquet. Not sure, but I don't recall anyone mentioning a color guard for the National Anthem and I want to have one this year and really don't have a clue where to find.

My thoughts too.

Well, with all the H-E-L-L the GLTG Gimmerats have been giving the Scouts they sound like the logical choice. Neighbor is a scout leader and I will speak with him this afternoon.
Thanks Tim, great suggestion!

You can also call the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Dept - they have an honor guard and I'm sure they would enjoy helping you out. Their honor guard served at a funeral for a local law enforcement officer and completed assignment with military precision and was quite an honor to witness.

Yep.... What FFF said. They have done this for a few conferences I had in LC.

They do a great job.

I have also seen Fire Departments also but not sure about LC.

CPSO has an awesome honor guard

You should recite the Pledge of Allegiance as well.

Ya think:rolleyes:
I try to have all the bases covered for every event but invaribly, somethings slip through the cracks and the Pledge did and has. It won't happen again as long as I am around so make sure you pipe down, take your hat off and join in May 2nd. Please don't be afraid to tell others around you to do the same, it's your duty as an American.;)
