Walgreens hired all the staff and took over all the prescriptions. They will still have their gift shop at the old pharmacy location. It will open next month. |

I know a guy who was a Pharmacist who had his own pharmacy, he sold out to Rite Aid once, worked for them when his non compete was up he opened another pharmacy kept it open for a few years and then sold out to Walgreens. He moved away is partially retired and works for a mom pop pharmacy part time now.
I still go a local guy. No waiting in line for hours to get a script filled any more. Once its called in by my DR by the time I get to the pharmacy it's ready. He calls me by name and thanks for me for my buisness every time. |

That's awesome. My wife liked going there even though she didn't have all our prescriptions there. She enjoyed the personal touch they had there.

I will truly miss the personal service I had at The Drug Store. I absolutely refuse to use Walgreens.
