Lol, i told him it was prolly a hawg and let go cause of the slack and another one nailed it, thats my thoughts, ive broke a rid on med size reds 4-5lb but not on a trout...

Never seen a fish hit it as hard as that one. Then I couldn't stop laughing as I held the rod and he had the reel and we landed "the fish". Id like to think it was a beast that hit it and the other was picking up leftovers.
