Auto insurance coverage...

If you are insured with the likes of US Agencies, Go Auto or, Direct General, do yourself a huge favor and leave them immediately!!!

You may think that you are saving money but, what you are losing is quality of customer service and, if you're ever in an accident, wait to see how they want your vehicle repaired!!:pissed: I wouldn't insure an '81 Ford Tempo with any of them!!:work:

There's my advice to my fellow SC members for the day!

They aren't the greatest in the world but, they are certainly better than the above mentioned!

Any time Chaf! Awareness is key in this world.

Honestly, if I were to be involved in a collision with someone insured by one of the above, I'd turn it in to my own ins co. and, let them deal with it after the fact! Yeah, I'd have my deductible to pay initially but, I'd know it was repaired correctly and, I'd be reimbursed for my deductible as well.

State Farm....I have everything with them except for my boat (progressive). I have NEVER had an issue with SF on a claim.

USAA is a pretty good outfit. They do take care of their customers.

Farm Bureau would actually be my personal favorite to deal with in the collision industry. They have a "Hey, let's just fix it right" attitude.

Ha! My boss is fighting with one of your favorites right now to get a check for his daughters car that was totaled last Month.
Hate to say it but, the only way to make sure you are getting the best coverage and price is to use an independent agent. We have the flexibility to market to multiple insurance companies that are A rated. If for some reason there is a problem, we get to Chew Azz with the company to make it right.

US Agencies is here right now...I showed her what I had posted about them here and, on FB. She got a little pissy until I asked her if she was insured by them. Her lack of response leads me to believe that she isn't!

I had Allstate for 10 years...After making two repairs under their company last year, I dropped them. I was not at all impressed!

Lake Chuck Duck 04-02-2013 02:27 PM

Anybody use Shelter? Experiences? All I've had to claim was a windshield chip repair and that was free.
