1st Crawfish Boil of 2013
This morning I picked up a sack of crawfish from Captain Sid's in Bucktown and while I was cutting grass I cleaned the bugs off by rinsing with fresh water. I had some video but was unable to upload it. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01608.jpg This was 37 lbs of mudbugs just dying to make for a delkicious meal http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01609.jpg The necessary seasonings and sices for making them taste great. I threw in some of those oranges I still have on my trees too. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01614.jpg Right after dumping them in that boiling spicy water. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01615.jpg Done and draining! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01620.jpg Time to eat this boat load of delicious bugs! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01622.jpg After chomping down on some corn on the cob my Granddaughter decided she was ready for some crawfish. Don't worry this one was rinsed clean of spiciness. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...e/DSC01644.jpg |
