Fishing Bayou Black this weekend. Never been! Any reports, location, lures, colors, etc to give me a starting point. Thanks

Had a buddy go today...couple fish. Decent bass and a red. Dunno how they fished it or anything.

I've never been, would like to go fish the marsh around there, but don't know my way around. Don't get much water time, hate to waste it fishin "empty" water, ya know??

I hear ya! I fished my *** off and caught one! I will not be making the 2 hour trip again to go do that again. If you are like me and like to flip then that place is the perfect place. Only no bites. I think that place will be good for the spawn (feb-early march). next tournament is Red River at the end of May. Cant wait! Love that place!
