Came over to Tampa for drydock and decided to make a few casts in the canal by the hotel caught my first snook and a whole lot of lady fish Attachment 49021
It's no Grand Isle but I can make it work

If there were snook in Louisiana waters in any numbers, I'd have a very different life. I'd have bypassed family and job and simply lived as close to the marsh or wherever they lived as humanly possible. And fished for them and trout and reds every possible waking moment. Just an awesome fish.

I completely agree with this

I wouldn't even fish for trout if we had snook in our waters! Them suckers are like a saltwater bass! Fun as hell to catch and I hear they are fantastic to eat!
