Hooked chocolate lab

We got a call for help from a fellow fisherman at Pelican Point today. His dog somehow got hold of a bait with treble hooks. The owner calmed the dog and called us over to help. After clipping the hooks, the dog and owner returned to their fishing. I hope that the ride home and to the vet turned out ok for those two.

My lab got a hook in her ear once. Had to push it thru and cut it. Had to sit on her to get it done. I didn't know a dog could make the sounds comin outta her.

Had a cat get in a storage room where all our rods where and I heard something making noises so I went look and it was hooked on a topwater. 1 treble hook was through its lip and the other through its paw. We had to cut some good hooks off of that bait bc of that thing!! Lol
