Grand Isle / Fourchon / Leesville Questions

Hello, I've a trip planned next weekend and was wondering
what the fishing conditions down there are like? I'm from
Northeast LA. Any info would be much appreciated.

I like the Leeville area to start out of. I like to put in on the West side at Boudreaux's. I used to fish out of Bobby Lynn's but rather the other side now. If the wind is up fish the marsh if there is no wind I head out to Little Lake and the Bay. Look for moving water and bait in the Lake. In the marsh fish the bank and hit the cuts for Reds. Stop in at Terry's for bait and ask him where the fish are. He'll point you in the right direction. Good luck and post up a trip report.
