Dularge Trout Fishing

A rough week of fishing as the wind won't give us a break. After slamming the trout on Monday the wind machine kicked up big time Tuesday through today. The good thing is that the trout still continue to bite with over 335 fish caught the past couple of days! The trout are very nice with some good 16-20 in. fish and we're catching some good numbers of redfish and flounder in addition to the trout. LSU Bayou Chubs,VU DU shrimp and bunker swim baits have been getting the job done for us! Big thanks to our customers including Gene Kenny,Cason Gott & crew,Steve Slusher & crew, Terry Sharp and the guys from Conoco Phillips. I fished with Cason,Evan,and Spenser Gott along with George Blanchard. We worked hard to fill the box and although no limits the crew busted up some beautiful reds and trout. Capt Brady limited out with 75 trout and a handful of reds. Capts Josh Ellender,George Landry & Travis Lovell smoked the fish as well with their groups. There is no stopping these guys and if there are fish to be caught these guys will find them. Soon as this front blows by we'll be on the water running trips everyday next week. Good luck fishing.
