Well this afternoon i eliminated the oil injection on my motor and yesterday i got a spinning rod setup for the first time. So i had to give it shot n try em out in the high winds and muddy muddy water. Managed a few fish. Couple were decent size too.

Well done! How'd the new spin rig perform?

Looks like you've got PP Super Slick. How do you like it?

I got a reel filled with it and honestly haven't noticed a difference between it and whatever braid I was using before (I forget). It's not bad by any means, but for the heavier price tag I was looking for something more perhaps...

Its my first spinning setup... Its a shimano stradic ci4 3000f. And a 7'6'' medium mod/fast tip duce rod. Casts a mile w that 10# super slick. Still gettin used to the feel of a spinning setup.

Can pm me how much you paid for that duce or post it on here, thanks

Send me a pic of that rod, I was wondering how the duce checks out with a spinning reel.

Super Slick is way smoother than any other braid. Easy on rod guides and cast very well. It's pretty flat too and digs less in the spool.
