Might be getting flooded, try pulling the plug and see if its wet

had same kind of problem a while back, it was kill switch clip..

Tighten your battery cable. If your positive starting wire is not the only positive wire hooked to battery try putting starter power wire closest to post on bottom in other words. The ring connectors gave me a false contact before. Same situation sorta. Sounds electrical. Moter runs fine no excess smoke 5 places and all I a sudden don't start. To test switch bring it with a buddy boat try n make it do it. Cut the negative to the kill switch and leave positive in line. Fire and see. Or try it now then hook it back if it still don't start. Isolate something. Filed plugs. Good luck nate. Remember BOAT means Bust Out Another Thousand.

Sound like it could be something messing up once it gets hot.

Clampy 04-29-2013 06:56 AM

Could be corrosion on the battery wire in between the wire and battery clap. I pulled my hair out over that one time. Couldn't see any corrosion until you took the clamp off. So I got pre made fixed cables. "THAT" problem solved.
