Easy. Salty an w fighting w and shadman fighting w getting ban from a site he once owned, other than that lots of good fishing and hunting reports and talk with a few good jokes ....... thank I got it all covered.

I remember the 2nd week SC was in existence. Someone ( Fool or Salty?) dropped me a pm inviting me to check it out. Been here ever since.
W/ all the stuff that went on that we laugh about now, i never thought that SC would make it. Congrats to W ,salty, fool , jeff , W , and Chicken and anyone else that was involved behind the scenes for making it happen and for sticking w/ it.

The old days..

When the site started I figured it would do well; the people who came over from LAS were looking for something better/different. I think that was accomplished in the first few weeks. The site has really grown; lots of good laughs , info on all kind of topics ( not just huntin & fishing) and some good friends are what I have gotten.
Chicken thanks for taking the site over and growing it; it ain't easy but u do a great job. Mods keep it up!

I am a late arrival from LAS, but did enjoy the history in this thread. I have two comments: (1) "W", I wish you would post that email to Taylor, I bet that is some funny stuff; and (2) Maybe I missed it, but nothing was said about this site reaching 8000 members. That is a great accomplishment that I hope does not go unnoticed.

I happened to be on las the day this site was launched and saw something. I was studying for finals aka sitting in the library playing on the Internet and decided to check it out.

One thing I have learned though is better be careful what you say to certain people. It will get you in trouble

Moved down here 3 years ago and wanted to find out some info on fishing Big Lake and joined up, been here since. Great site:)
