Open sights and, I got all the mags you could ever want.
|
Promag aluminum flip-up sights. Light and durable. Food down for easy storage.
|
Southern pm me price on mags and sights bro if you dont mind...
|
Sights are at Cabelas and, I think Academy. I paid $75 for front and $75 for rear.
|
The Magpul sights hold zero surprisingly well. I would want a larger caliber for a hog gun. Red Dots are great if you get a good one, I haven't seen a cheap on that can hold zero yet.
Please don't buy anything promag... |
What's wrong with th promag sights? I haven't used my ar a bunch yet but, like the sights. Did I miss something about em. I don't want to lead someone wrong. Please enlighten me.

Troy battle sights would be my choice

I got a set of sights ill sell ya inchAttachment 50094
Diamond head look em up |
ProMag has very poor quality control. They have a couple of good items in their line up, one being their 15-22 mags, and some of their mag loaders. Their sights are pretty poor at holding zero mainly due to the fact that the mount is over sized and can/will wobble.

Eotech. Swing by this weekend and check mine out. I freaking love it. Zombie stopper.
|
I just put a Nikon p-223 fixed 3x scope on my AR and really like it. Got it off eBay brand new for like $180. I almost went red dot, but I wanted to be able to reach out and touch something if I needed to. Used my magpul iron sites for a while and they do hold zero well.

Nice....I have S & W mp15...

If I don't sell my current AR I am going to outfit it with a Burris combo - 4X magnification scope + red dot. These are great combos for the price.

EoTech 512..... It's a bit heavy, but that SOB is durable. As far as sights, I would go with Yankee Hill. Brush gun or battle rifle, outfit it with the best your budget will allow. Buy once and cry once.
