Lacassine Refuge
It wasn't on the news last night but yesterday a fisherman was struck by lightning at the refuge. My understanding is there were three guys in the boat and one was struck in the chest. Supposedly they were from Lake Charles. The guy who was struck still had a pulse but a poor prognosis.
Just wanted to remind everyone to be safe out there and keep those guys in your prayers

Amen - I don't mess with lightning. It can strike 10 miles away from the parent storm... I always lean on the side of being too cautious when it comes to the shocker. |

No updates, only reason I know is I work for Jeff Davis SO the guy was taken to Jennings American Legion Hospital

He was transported to LC memorial yesterday afternoon. They got him stable as of last night. They did CPR for a while so the extent of damage is unknow.

His name is Cleave Menard. Put him and his family on your prayer list's.
He's had a couple of strokes and the Dr's are worried his brain may shut down. The dr's say his wife may have to make a tough decision if he doesn't get better.
