Popping Cork Rod.
 

What rod do you recommend for throwing popping cork and live shrimp with a 1.spinning reel? 2. Baitcaster with a curado E7?
What's the best way to cast baitcaster with cork?
Sidearm? Overhead?

Is this for real?

There is no good way to throw a live shrimp rig on a baitcaster. It xan be done but its tough. The two weights normally associated with these rigs flying through the air jerk on the spool causing problems. Spinning reel set up is great for a cork. I spinning exclusively for corks.

On a baitcast when you bring the rod back make sure the bait isnt swinging. Then in a smooth motion come forward and let the momentum of the cork do the work. Dont "whip" it like you would with a lure

Only way to efficiently do it is to get enough elevation to almost lob underhand.

Also, a sliding cork stopped by your (assuming here) spilt shot or regular sliding cork rig no more than about eight inches from your hook.

Don't use a BC if u can avoid it. If you do throw underhand.

I have used both. Really prefer a spinning rod/reel. I can sling it a mile on a rod I built. A bait caster can be used just need to "lob" the set up so as not to pop the shrimp off.
