Good luck to her!! Question, Can you weigh a La STAR fish in at a TX weigh site? If fish was caught in common waters and your signed up to fish La & Tx star. Fish to be entered into West La divison.

How about launching boat , does it matter if TX or LA waters?

17.The boundaries for the four areas are as follows: West Division: From the Louisiana/Texas border including the common boundary waters of Louisiana/Texas then due south 180 degrees (true) extending seaward 200 miles. To the common boundary of Cameron Parish and Vermilion Parish, then due south 180 degrees (true) extending seaward 200 miles.
18.Speckled trout must be landed in the zone (West, South West, South East or East) in which they are entered, and indicated on the official STAR weigh form. The Coastal Fisheries Institute at Louisiana State University is authorized to perform scientific tests to verify location and time of catch.

doent say anything about where you can launch just where it was caught

I'm about to sign up, I'm not a member yet so I guess I get my membership to CCA then sign up for star?

How do they confirm who caught the fish, an that it wasn't caught prior to joining or signing up? Crazy that over 20 have caught a tagged red that weren't signed up for the tourney...

polygraph. they record the time you sign up as well as the date

meaux fishing 05-26-2013 11:29 AM

they can tell how long a fish has been on ice or if its been frozen

bjqx 05-26-2013 11:37 AM
