25 merc...

Isn't the 25 Merc motor the one that the duck hunters go crazy over?

How much do they normally go for?

The merc 25 according to a lot of people was good in the marsh because the grass wouldn't hang on the foot as much. I never had one so I don't know personally. I had a lot of family that did and swore by them.

My first boat was a 14' alweld with a 25 merc electric start tiller....could not kill it ran it in no water straight mud and matted lillys. Gut the thermostat and let it flow. Wish I would have never sold it...

I treat my 40 Merc just like this! Thermostat was the first thing I did away with on it!

Put some stainless screens over the water pickup on the lower unit and you can run almost anywhere.

Made in lake Charles area, looked into it for my 60 tiller, but it's too big for the jack. Youtube the video, pretty sweet (link on their page wouldn't work for me).
