Well I couldn't find any sand fleas so I threw the normal stuff. Had some pretty good luck! Of course I figure the trout out on our last day. I didnt get to fish the early hours like I would like since I have my wife with me but I'm sure I would have did pretty good early. I'm going to try and get more trout this evening! Trout hit the best on topwaters, I missed one probably 6-7lbs today.

Yep! I just kind of looked for calmer spots. Caught a bunch of ladyfish too. They did a good job at keeping the action going

I'm in destin now. We took a charter today for snapper but it was too rough so we went trout fishing. Very very easy to catch trout gets surprisingly

I'm going to gulf shores on the 30th for a week and staying on little lagoon and bringing boat with me. Are you fishing beach or the bay? Any pointers?

I just got here today. Was today the first day you fish? We are going out on Tuesday on a 53' but have my polls for a little beach action if they are running.

Go on the bayside. To the west of crab island Is a coast gaurd station. Station is on land with rocks leading out into the bay. We were fishing south of the rocks throwing at them. 2 guys living live shrimp I was use a catch 2000. They caught 2 to my 1.

Beach side was much better. I fished the bay the first three days with 2 reds and a flounder to show for it. Went to the beach (5-7' seas too) and started out throwing a swim bait on 1 ounce lead head and caught a trout immediately then started to see fish hit between the waves so I got my topwaters and started throwing. Wasn't long before I got my first hit, and it was a nice trout then I'd catch a bunch of lady fish then another trout, then ladyfish then trout. It was pretty crazy to see fish hitting surface baits in that crazy water. This morning it was slick out and there were fish busting everywhere, but I didn't get too fish because we were leaving ;(.

Btw I fished near little lagoon pass the whole time
