I've been in Grand Isle for two days. I can't seem to find a fish over 11 inches. That's a nice box shot!

Trout master back at it.

I'd love to know the species of this food source as well. This was in February or march on the inside.

Ribbon Fish ?

Yep Ribbon fish. They get big but I don't know how because everything eats them. I've caught them offshore and they had teeth marks from other ribbon fish. Viscous critters.

Sure can. Probably take a few days for the water to clear up tho.

sacalaitman 06-07-2013 11:21 AM

It cleared up for me really quick. Dont let the color of the water fool you, the fish are there and VERY plentiful. Not many throw backs on the beach.
