Toledo Bend: Hangover Edition 6/7-6/9
 

Well, had a great time at Toledo this weekend. First time fishing there, so it was a completely new experience for me. Since it was my Bachelor Party, probably didn't do as much fishing as I would have liked, but hey, it was fun. We fished from wherever we could get, whether it was a dock, the bank, a boat, trotlines, yo-yos, rod and reel. You name it, we probably used it. On second thought, maybe not EVERYTHING.

Anyway, ended up catching a pretty good mess of fish. One of the guys caught a couple keeper bass, had probably 6 or 7 bream caught, and we caught 8 nice catfish on a trotline.

I did catch one bass sunday morning. Fishing from the dock, decided to throw a baby bass crankbait over the grass. Haven't been able to use that one much. Man, it was cool watching that little dude take it. He measured 12", so I threw him back, but got my first bass at Toledo.

Nice trip... Bachelor parties are always fun...

You ain't lyin' man, it was fun. That place is gorgeous, want to go back and do some serious fishing.
