Almost a top 10 Lane Snapper

Just wanted to share this pick of a Lane Snapper we caught this past weekend out of Grand Isle. It was caught in about 135 ft of water on a reef using dead pogy. It weighed in at 4.30 lbs using Bridgeside Marina's certified scale. It missed making the Louisiana top 10 record Lane Snapper by 0.08 lbs.

thats a big lane for sure. Probably was a top 10 before it hit the box

Take it out the box, stuff a pogey down his throat and weigh it again
