If you ever wanted to fish big lake but don't have a boat then today's the day. You could walk across the lake stepping boat to boat. I remember why I like fishing during the week

I drove to launch on golf cart around 630 and just LMAO...i was like yep!! Nice to have a camp to sleep late and just enjoy the nice air

The line at cal point was lmao. Not catching but fun watch the kiddos try. W bring me a beer

I was at the launch at 5 and there was a line...Don't even get me started on the potlickers that motored up with the big motor while I was under birds, and started casting over my bow when I blocked em. Literally had shrimp jumping between boats. I told em they were sitting on top of the fish and they looked at me like I was speaking in Chinese.

Stay Stay Stay Stay away from birds, learn the lake and you will find fishing birds fishing is for people who do not understand how to fish lake
Let them chase them and you can go off and fish


I have not fished a group of birds in a very long time...if no one is around and i see a group i will try them but it will never be on a weekend

While we are talking about beer ; told my wife pick me up a case of Miller light 10oz

I didn't go ride lookin for birds but if I see em while runnin im definitely gonna hit em. Half my fish were caught not under birds today...gonna post a report later goin on another trip this afternoon.

Friday was bad too, are Mondays usually that packed?

Not near as many boats starting Sunday afternoon. Friday is now just as bad as Saturday most of the time.

Last sunday wasn't near as bad as last Saturday, also noticed today everyone ran south. Ymbc tourney don't help none either.

There were at least 45 boats at jetties at one point. Probably 25 more boats went out the end and turned right. I bet boats were all over the rocks on the beach. Only saw 1 boat that looked like it was headed out for some snapper.

I didn't hear much good from anyone at heberts Saturday so they must have all been weekend warriors

We picked up the 5th wheel this morning for our trip to grand isle. I went by spicers and I have never seen this many boats. A couple of dummies in a t-top by my camp were leaving to fish at 8:15. I told them they just missed the bite. If you are going to bother fishing on a sat morning you better get up early...

I went by our pier the channel for a few minutes. The channel looked like 1-10 in houston.... Lots of boats running four wide
