3wk old gas....***?
 

Boat idled rough other day pulled fuel filter and saw gas with an off tint. After further investigation it was devastating.

This cup is fresh 2day old gas.

It's a never ending battle....are you using non ethanol? Doesn't really matter I have gotten gas with water in it that was non ethanol.

Not this tank

I have been keeping no ethanol gas in the boat ever since i have gotten back home to LA. But even with that i am very glad that i have been able to learn how to clean my own carbs, Have already had 2 times i would have had to pay a pretty penny to have them cleaned.

Hopefully if you run some carb cleaner thru and put in some fresh carbs you will be okay, good job finding the problem so quickly.

Electronic Fuel injected. But started to collapse hoses. When I first started pumping hose particles were in the bottom. Any ideas on how to get the lagniappe gas than pump wouldn't suck off bottom? I drained it lower than bottom of pick up tube. Should I just put more gas in it and roll with it?

Go get a good water separating fuel filter. Not a cheap one from Academy or Walmart. Just drain the water off wile you run. It will work it's way out eventually. Been down that road with a 300 gal tank may times.

I've had the issue once after not running the boat for a month or so...wont let that happen again! I also plan on running most of my tank out and starting fresh with some marine stabil.
