what to do with 10 gallons of gas/oil
 

Just curious what I can do with gas/oil from my boat tank that I empty out? I called around to all oil changing places to see if they would take it but no one would take the gas, they only take oil. Anyone know how I can dispose of it legally??:help:

How old is it? If it doesn't have water in it you can mix it with some 93 octane and burn it in your lawnmower.

The gas is new the oil is the problem. My son added 5 gal. of gas to tank and then added lower unit oil to gas instead of outboad motor oil. Both quicksilver oil bottles just grabbed the wrong one.:eek:

just mix it with some gas and burn it in a mower as said before.... pretty much all it will do is foul the plug

That will burn in mower, may need a couple of cans mix it with fresh gas it will work may need some thinning. That is how I get rid of of 50:1 mix all the time, some times it is so thick like syrup but mower still likes it.

Ant killer or twice a year our parish has a hazardous waste colletion day. They take everything from old electronics to paint, tires, you name it. You just have to be a resident of the parish to get rid of it. This is in Lafourche Parish, I'm not sure if your parish does it or not.

On an empty tank of your truck, fill up and top off 1 gallon at a time until used. Your vehicle will burn that easy and dilluting it in a large tank will not harm anything, including injectors. Gear oil is heavy, but has no additives that will arm your system.

It'll evaporate really quivk. Just put it in sone buckets. All that'll be left is the oil
