19 Firefighters Killed in Arizona.
Man I just got back from a little washateria fire and saw all the news outlets reporting that 19 Firefighters were killed in Arizona. They are reporting that it was a Hotshot group from the Prescott FD. They were overtaken by the rapidly growing wildfire. What gets me is the average age of this team was 22. These guys were just getting started in life!
To all off the Emergency Responders on SC lets not take these LODDs lightly. Lets remember to keep our eyes open and not get complacent! We need to learn from passed LODD because it CAN happen to us!!!! STAY SAFE OUT THERE!!!! |
Prayers sent for the families, friends and coworkers.

Thats terrible, these guys were pretty experienced and for that to happen the **** must have really hit the fan. Good thoughts and prayers to the family.

OMG
How terrible. Prayers for all the families and everyone. I sometimes don't understand why they fight these wildfires. I understand when it is threatening people/structures, but until then........... Get WAY ahead of them to contain them. |

My heart and prayers go out to the family's of those brave men and women that lost their lives. And some special prayers to the lone member of the Hot Shot squad that was in a different place. Y'all that know will agree. that his / her PTSD levels are going to be thru the roof for a long while.

Prayers sent out to the fire fighter brothers and sisters that have lost their lives. Im still a "rookie" but I still get the "BG's" when the pager goes off. Fire is nothing to play with.
