Hey Jordan,

We have been doing the go down to the lake and set a few of our own off thing for the last 2 years.... But it looks like this is an organized / city type event ...

Where is it held at?

Guy said he had $12K+ in fireworks. It was a nice show.

American Legion at the corner of Hwy 112 and 171 on the south end of DeRidder. Normally lasts about 30-40 minutes. He lights them all off, then re-lights the ones that didnt go off. Really planned out. We were on standy because they cut the field about 3 days before the show and we had a few small fires, nothing that the grab packs couldnt put out.

Cool, gonna have to keep that in mind for the next shows....

Lake crowd was a little frisky for the fourth..... was a bit much to explain to the kiddo's.

no alcohol involved where I was at (by the trucks). Only thing hot at this event was me, because I was dressed in my fire suit the entire time (in case one of the fireworks went off prematurely)
