That's gonna be your new favorite toy...

how heavy is the remote? and where do you hang yours

meaux fishing 07-13-2013 08:07 PM

I hang mine on my belt loop on the side of the hand I reel with. It comes with a carabiner type clip and a neck lanyard

It's light enough to hang on your neck. I just don't like hanging things from mine. I even have my Powerpole remote on my belt loop.

I love my i pilot. How long does the y'all's remote battery last and a stupid question is what does it do when it's week. When I used mine last weekend it kept turning it self off and wouldn't turn back on for a few minutes. I've pulled the battery out to replace it but keep forgetting to buy a couple more.

I used mine only a couple times. So I hope it's the battery and not a defect.

Mine did the same thing though it was the battery. Read the manual and it said the remote will automatically cut off after 1 min of no activity.

The battery thst came with the remote didnt last but 1 r 2 trips I think.

The first couple of trips it'd cut off and would have no problem with it cutting back on. I hope it's just a crapy factory battery.
