Delcambre canal 7-25

Hi all. Went for a trip to the Delcambre canal near Lake Peigneur Thursday afternoon with my boss. Ended up with 6 keeper reds, a couple just undersized reds, 20-30 puppy drum which were released, some croakers, 1 big black drum and a cat. All caught fishing on the bottom with fresh shrimp. Great after work trip! Definitely got me itching to get my own boat!

Not a huge drum but close to a personal best for me, and put up a great fight.

We went Saturday in between rain showers and caught one channel cat. Rain ran us out tried to wait it out bilge pump wasn't working. Tided didn't move until late afternoon. Had a buddy fish Sunday and caught bunch of fish ended the day 7 keeper reds.
