Between Port Barre and Krotz Springs there is a sizeable body of water to the north of Hwy 190. Lots of homes built on it. Can anyone identify this body of water? Appeared to be 1/4 mile or so from the highway.

Thanks. Is this an oxbow? I'm assuming it's river-fed?

There's no public access? You gotta be a homeowner there to use it?

Used to be open to the public. But within the last 10-15 years they made it private. Grew up water skiing and jet skiing out there.
