Tourney Day Drawings, ETC - UPDATE (THIS SATURDAY the 3rd)
We will open the scales at 11:00, Cajun Phil will be our weight master.
BlueChip will start working on the Jambalaya much earlier in the day, we will have food and drinks for everyone at the weigh in. We will of course have raffle tickets available with great prizes and we will have live drawings. One drawing will be for everyone that signed up for the tournament, the other will require you to be present to win. We have great prizes again this year including several rods and reels, yeti coolers, etc... The folks from our benefit charity the St. Nicholas Center will be on hand at 1:00 when the scales close. We will have a PA system on hand or the drawings and trophy presentation. This should be a great event, please register online as soon as you can, we will no longer accept online entries after 8:00 on Friday night and Jchief and the mod crew will be taking cash entries Friday night at the Captains Meeting. For those of you with questions please contact Paul Myers, Jchief, Sulphite or Blue Chip. I am responding to PM's as I can but I am out of the country on a business trip and I will not return until very late Friday night but I will get up jet lagged and ready to go on Saturday morning for the event. The weather looks great, lets make this year the best event to date. |

Just so everyone knows, ALL ATF rules will apply to this auction, however they opt to do it. I contacted my ATF rep the other day to see about doing the transfers on-site and, I was informed that I will not be able to do that. That said, the transfer can be done at my place in Gonzales OR, I will ship them, free of charge to an FFL in your home area. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't send people home with their firearms right then but, I can't afford to risk my own FFL for a couple of smiles. I do hope everyone understands. If shipping is the route chosen, I will ship them to the winner's FFL of choice Monday, August 5th. |

There will be no auction at the weigh in, just door prizes and raffle drawings. |

This is not the actual pistol but, it is identical. It's a pic I pulled up online. |

This is the Mossberg that will also be auctioned off. It's very lightweight rifle that would be great for plinking or, starting the young hunter/shooter on. |
