mounting trolling motor

Does anyone know who can put a trolling motor mount on my boat tomorrow? bought a new trolling motor today from jerrys marine in hopes that it fit my quick release i already had but it didnt... any help would be awesome.

does jerry marine or any other boat dealer mount trolling motors without being on a waiting list?

Dood, it ain't that hard of a job. Definitely qualifies as a DIY project.

what about drilling the bottom part of the quick release to your boat?

Do you have a front latch for storage at the front of the boat?

yes i have my anchor box like on every pathfinder.

are you able to reach inside to the area where you will be drilling to put the nut on the bolt? Does the old trolling motor hole lines up with the new one?

not sure if it will line up with the new one because i dont have it yet, hope to have it at 8 in the morning i will use two of the old holes to make sure the quick release bracket is mounted on right

There is an aluminum plate molded into the fiberglass layers up on the front. Make sure before you drill that the trolling motor will clear the front lip when you deploy it.

Very good advice. Not a bad idea to get some help to hold the entire unit in place and do as much of a "dry run" as you can to make sure that nothing is fouled. Measure twice.....drill once.

Thanks guys I got my old quick release to work, I was using the wrong hole in the mount. Will have to re drill the mount another day because my new trolling motor won't allow the anchor compartment to open, but it will work for the weekend.
