Who wants to go to BR

While the thread on Triple tail limits has brought interest up on how things get done in our state as far as fish limits go. Who among you would go to the next meeting and voice your concerns. I've put in my 2cnts in a email, but I would be willing to go BR and talk to the commission in person. Anybody else?

With the amount of work I have right now I will be unable to make it. I was invited a while back to join my area's cca committee. I was told today there is a meeting next Tuesday, and two of the commission members will be present. I'll definitely make my voice heard there.

Probably Billy Broussard and Steven Sagrera. They're both from Vermilion Parish. Are they members of CCA?

That's exactly who it is. I would assume they are members being its a committee meeting.

Damn I come back to work on the Wednesday

Wow. Tough choice. I might not get in any saltwater fishing in August, and we've got a trip scheduled to begin on 5 September. Maybe I can sneak in a trip this month and push the September trip back a day. I sure hate to delay actually fishing to stay in BR and talk about fishing. I'm happy to support those who are going with talking points and scientific references.

I'll find out for sure, but I believe the meeting will be in BR, the location maybe somewhere else than their normal place-hear they are having plumbing problems. I'm off so I'm going. Mathgeek- any info you have on studies done on TTTs would help, I've search the subject and there just isn't much out there. Talked to biologist and they really don't have much info. I've fished TTTs for 5 yrs and have my observations, I know others have more experience than my self, probably can't change their minds but hopefully I can be heard. If any one wants to PM me with their thoughts on this I will relay the best I can.

I'm sure I can get away

If you want to talk, you have to get there a little early and fill out a short form....name, topic, etc. to be allowed to talk. I think, after everyone talks.....they will ask if there is anybody else that wants to speak.

Sit up front so you can hear better what everyone is saying.

It was a long time ago that I went to a meeting in Baton Rouge.

I would go, but I'm told my voice is no good in La.
