Steve & Kim (14) Hubertus and David, Brandon (8) and Will (12) Pearle joined me today. Todays trip was all about the kids catching fish, mission accomplished. We left out of the Reel Inn Lodge at daybreak. Our bite started off slow catching our first 15 fish on live croakers. Once a storm passed over and the seas calmed it was on fire!! It's like a switch was turned on and we had the big LOGS coming in two at a time every-cast on our Matrix Shad. We had put another forty trout on ice in about 15 minutes and the bite slowed. David threw out a croaker and Bam it was back on every-cast. 8 yr old Brandon was a fishing machine, as was steady reeling in the trout!!! We filled the K2 till we could not close it, and left the fish biting as the kids had enough. Incredible day as the majority of fish were 18-23 inches, not one throwback nor one fish to measure. Thanks again guys as I enjoyed the day with you.
