Big Lake (Calcasieu) salinity level.
 

I use to have a web site that gave the salinity levels of the different areas but seem to have deleted it. Does anyone know the site or could you tell me if the water is still salty in Calcasieu Lake. I am thinking about hitting the lake this weekend or maybe waiting for next weekend even though that is opening for duck season (NOV 14th). The Red river is high and it doesn't look like it will be opened by then.

No problem...They get that reading from one spot,not the whole lake. Read the reports,the fish are biting.
