Just please don't do like the other trout fisherman in the bay and just ride and look for boats and motor up in em. Just wait till October and you will see what mean. It's awfully frustrating when there are so many fish and they could be worked over good if people would just be considerate and have a little patience.

Yes, keep your distance, move in quiet, let the wind bring you in or your trolling motor on low, don't go screaming right by boats that are sitting.

Basically, don't be a tool... People don't mind sharing as long as others are respectful of their space and don't disturb the fish - a 30' anchor toss will ruin a good bite.

My rule of thumb is I stay away from everyone, if they are catching then good for them. Usually misery loves company, so boats stacking don't mean a thing to me. I go fish elsewhere, that place is big.

This is what I did. Download the navionics app and pick up a hook and line map. I had a guy I work with mark some spots and others I found on my own. I also like to write down what the conditions were and how the fish were caught that particular trip. This makes for a valuable reference down the road.

That just it I don't know any body that fishes specks so I don't even know where to start at so if any one want to pm me a spot waypoint ill keep it to my self promiss I share my info where the reds r at

Don't do that, guys will be sending you bunk waypoints to the aquarium and stuff just to grab your red holes.

I'm here to make frisends not to hate on people I tell people where I fish because its no secret I catch fish so why other people can't catch fish that what my grandfather thought me to share an be open an people will help when u in need the only thing we ever fished for was red fish this is the first year I really get in to it like this an I'm starting to love it I bought me a 1996 hydro sport 20' 175 Johnson its green with earlybird2 on it if y'all see me out there come pass by an have a drink bull**** fish with us I don't care we out there to have a good time that's all there nxo wrong why to fish

Do you have a trolling motor? Sometimes it is almost impossible to keep up with trout,they can move very quick. Right now I would pay attention to shrimp popping out the water. Tale sign trout are chasing them. Start around the mud point/trash pile area and look for action to the north twards avery and commercial canal. Blue point,the cove,hammock point are good areas this time of the year too. Like mentioned already get a hook and line map for v bay it shows most of the popular areas with gps coords. Get a good set of binoculars and scan the water for shrimp popping/and or sea gulls diving. Motor up and kill your motor a good distance away from the area. Always position your boat to go with the wind/tide. A easy way to catch them is with a glow sparkle beetle on a 1/8 oz jighead about 2 1/2 to 3 foot under a cork.

No prob...for me the biggest thing I had to get over was learning that trout are usually out in open water. Took me a while when I first started to stop beating the banks like redfishing. Don't get me wrong sometimes they will be on the bank but most of the schooling fast action trout fishing is done in open water under shrimp or other bait.
