Heading to beach - What to throw?
 

Newbie to beach fishing and taking my some this weekend.
Plan on vudu under a cork, tandem cocohoes purple/chart.

Am I on the right track. Cant bring a bunch with you in the water.

I usually put a handful of tails in a buttoned or zippered pocket....1 each of several colors. I keep switching them out till I find what they want.....An all time top producing color in the surf for me is old school strawberry/white tail

1/8 jig glow, pink, or lsu reaction jerk jr.

You will smoke the hard heads with a vudu under a cork.

Depends on the water and what bait us in the area

Black/char or bone/chrome she dog on one rod and a 1/4 oz jighead with various plastics on another rod.

Bone skitterwalk

Them double rig plastics spell trouble if the fish are holding tight to the breakers.

Motor oil or blue moon if the water is clear
