Traffic Court in Cameron

I am looking for an attorney to represent someone I know for a traffic ticket. This "person" does not believe they were speeding and is happy to pay the fine but wants the ticket to be a non moving violation to avoid issues with their insurance. This scenario was offered to the Sheriff in Cameron but he was not willing to help out. Do any of you know of an attorney that can practice in Cameron and would take this case? Seems like easy money for someone.

She is the assistant DA, so she probably won't represent someone against the parish.

You want someone who knows the system... You rather have a guy who sits right next to the sheriff and drinks beer or really piss him off by getting an outside attorney to go after his system

Mudd would get it off of gis record

Once again, tickets only get picked up by insurance companies when you do the following things post ticket; purchase a new auto, change driver list (add/delete), add comp/collision to an existing auto. Most auto policies renew every 6 months and carriers cannot afford to run an MVR every renewal. Keeping tickets off your record is used to jack up the price of the ticket. If you only get a ticket every year, it's pointless to worry about keeping it off you record IMO. State Farm safe driver discount with 6 tickets over the course of one summer in my Yout.

Sheriff's Office gives the tickets DA's office prosecutes the tickets.

Call the DA's office the Sheriff’s Office is not the ones who reduces it to a non-moving violation.
Never had an issue with any DA’s office not wanting to reduce a ticket to a non-moving.
