I had a friend that drove himself to the police station and went inside and ask if someone could drive him home.....that he was to drunk to drive.......they gave him a ride home, no ticket, he picked his car up the next day.

I heard a pretty similar story that happened at the state police office off of hwy 90 by Houma. A guy drove up drunk, walked up to the desk and asked for a room to spend the night lmao.
