Who's going Saturday???? Everyone is keeping low this year on their dove fields! The group I hunt with will be in Indian Bayou; nice mess of birds in cut/burned millet. Gonna be hot though, no trees in this field.

I will be out there tomorrow. Hunt is starting about 3:30 after BBQ and a few cold ones. Cut millet.

gonna make a pig hunt in the a.m. Got a few tearing up feeders on the lease then dove shoot in the p.m. Should be good and drunk come night fall.

Got an invite from my buddy to hunt cut millet and sunflowers. Shoot a box of shells at skeet yesterday evening and ready to go!

Headed to Lake Bruin tomorrow morning, we have a hunt there every year. Thick with birds. Usually a quick limit 3 days in a row. Sunflowers

Hunting a goat weed patch by the house tomorrow when i get off work with the mojo tree. Then headed to Ft Polk to hunt a field that has thousands of doves in it. Hope to be limited out by 9:00am then to my house for a dove cookoff.

Did not get to make it last weekend, but my bud and others went they ended up with over 400 both Sun and Monday

Ive seen a few flying around in my fields the past couple of days. I might make a late afternoon hunt on sunday when I get home from New Orleans

Texas panhandle, between Lubbock and Amarillo, they some doves out there!!!!

Reminder, doesn't open until noon on the first day, Sept 7, after that 1/2 hour before sunrise until sunset.
