I've been out twice in the last week and hitting it again on Wed. Wed, we were the only fishing boat we could see at the Jetties, but Sat there was a decent crowd.

Been busy, too busy !!!

BaseballFisherman 09-12-2013 07:23 PM

Fishing on BL is not good right now. I fished for the first three times this week after being out of town all year. My best day was 12 trout. I only saw a handful of boats fishing between the three days. What I learned this week is that it is HOT and the fishing is TOUGH. We need some calm days, some light north winds, and some RAIN! This isn't what I was expecting to return home to.

Lake is dead.... nobody catching in lake

Weirs killing us bad!!! We should have shrimp busting everywhere

I have 4 trips starting tomorrow and afternoons...hope i can pull some fish in

Fished 4 hours today had 6 trout

BaseballFisherman 09-12-2013 07:55 PM

I've got one Saturday and it's gonna be tough. I fished from daylight until 9:30 today and had 3 trout. Started to get hot and frustrating so I went home lol

Montauk17 09-12-2013 08:00 PM

Hope the trout bite gets better for yall once the fronts start coming down. I will be chasing the less desirable redfish and flounder this weekend hopefully.

MattMigues 09-12-2013 08:29 PM

Redfish are thick. Trout are spotty but they're around I haven't been since Monday but been catching lots of short fish with schools of pogey. Think I have my boat almost tweaked perfect. I'll be out for sure Sunday morning!

haoward 09-12-2013 08:40 PM

Will be out Sat hopefully get some more Reds, and Speck after
