Hurricane Ida

Well so much for going offshore today...........the office just called me and said no crew change today, because there is a Hurricane out there headed into the gulf. I think its still too far out there, but I guess they dont want to have to start sending people right back in if it gets too close.

Tues. is my crew change day. No special trips for me.
But that dang thang is going to screw up my fishing when I get home.

If I sell the boat, the weather will look great while I am off work.
I couldn't fish for a couple years due to a back problem.
The weather was great all the time.
Get back surgery, get a boat, weather sux.

Tiny Hurricane

TWC
"Due to the very small wind field, waves from Ida will be less the 15 feet and any surge will be less than 3 feet."

This is a tiny hurricane that has to cross land then re enter the gulf with high wind sheer; I dont think it has much of a chance of hitting the US as a Hurricane.
